Daisy Chain Boat Race

Daisy Chain Annual Bell Boat Race Saturday 5^th July 2008, 9.30am-2pm

Following the great success of previous years, Daisy Chain are excited to announce our 6th Annual Bell Boat Race! The event will take place at the Castlegate Quay Water Sports Centre on Saturday 5th July at 9.30am.

We are currently recruiting teams and as in previous years we are looking for teams of eight. We are encouraging teams to raise a minimum sponsorship of £300, which amounts to only £37.50 per person! Although in the past teams have easily exceeded this.

Each team will be required to pay a deposit of £50 to secure a place this will be refunded on the receipt of sponsorship money. All cheques for deposits will not be cashed, unless you do not attend the event (please make all cheques payable to Daisy Chain and date them 5.7.08). There will be prizes for teams in 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place at the event.

Teams wishing to practise in advance of the event can do so, at a reduced rate. Please contact the Castlegate Quay Water Sports Centre direct on 01642 528689 to arrange bookings.
