Crimestoppers Youth Board leads the way.

Final year student Craig Wright has put his design skills to the test for the National Charity Crimestoppers by designing a beermat with a serious message. The 50,000 (!) Beermats have been distributed throughout the local area, so keep your eyes open to catch them. Click here to read all about it from the University website.

Fundraising Students baking success!

Students on the Volunteering Module in Social Sciences raised over £400 with a charity cake stall just before Christmas to raise funds for ILOP (Independent Living for Older People). Dressed in granny style, the students worked tirelessly baking cakes and buns for the stall as well as holding a raffle! Well done to all involved. With the money raised, they were able to buy equipment for ILOP to use with their clients during their fun and social activities. The students presented the equipment during a presentation to show the clients how they'd raised the fund and had a really great time! Just shows that a little work can have big rewards! click here to see the photo!
