The personal information that you provide will be processed by the University of Teesside in compliance with the requirements and safeguards of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the University’s registration with the Information Commissioner’s Office.  You are giving your information for the purpose of being notified about suitable volunteer opportunities from organisations.  This process involves passing your personal details to selected organisations who may then contact you about relevant opportunities.  You may also be contacted by the University to be kept informed of relevant activities or events, and to ensure that the information held about you is accurate.  You can remove your details from this database at any time by emailing volunteering@tees.ac.uk
