Our latest Do Good, Feel Good event was teaming up with Middlesbrough Council Community Hub at Newport and Recovery Connections to do a Litter pick as part of the #KeepBoroTidy campaign.
During the hour we managed to collect loads of rubbish and when you see it altogether, there is a big sense of achievement. The weather was kind, despite a short shower but this didn’t dampen our spirits. Three different organisations, all coming together to achieve the same goal, teamwork at its best!
The students who volunteered, Shakib and Somtochukwu were fantastic, and we would like to express a big thank you to you both. Volunteering has so many benefits but that sense of community involvement, sense of belonging and opportunity to meet new friends really shone during this event.

Keeping in regular contact with our members to check on their wellbeing is one of our key services. Our Wellbeing Volunteers contact a range of different members every week to make a friendly 'check in' call and have a chat.
If you’d like to help to collate and share information relevant to people living with dementia and their carers then this could be the role for you!
We need warehouse volunteers to keep our stock moving from the van to the shop floor and warehouse when items are sold. This role can be physical so must be reasonably fit. We also have vacancies for flat pack furniture assemblers and Ebay assistants
