In conjunction with Hospice Care Week 8th -14th October 2022, Teesside Hospice will be organising an Open day on Friday 14th October 2022 @10am
More than 200 hospices across the UK work tirelessly every year to provide brilliant, compassionate care for people at the end of their life, and their loved ones. Hospice Care Week is the chance to shine a light on the incredible work of hospices across the UK.
Our open day is an opportunity for students to visit the Hospice and talk to our clinical team about:
- Palliative Care in general
- what services the Hospice provides and
- what it is like to work in Palliative Care
We would ask that students arrive from 10am – 11am and they will be given a tour and a talk from members of our Inpatient Unit Clinical Team.
