Do Good Feel Good and support Teesside Hospice with the Light up a Life Christmas Tree appeal

What You'll Do:

Volunteering alongside the volunteering team, student volunteers will be staffing the Middlesbrough Hill Street Centre Teesside Hospice Christmas Tree.

We have agreed to staff this on the 27th and 28th November from 10am - 4pm. We are asking volunteers to sign up and choose one of the following shifts:

Thursday 27th November from 10-1pm

Thursday 27th November from 1-4pm

Friday 28th November from 10-1pm

Friday 28th  November from 1-4pm

This tree has been placed in the Hill Street Shopping Centre as a way for the local community to dedicate a message to a loved one who has passed away.

Our volunteering role is to engage with the public, assist them in writing dedications if needed, and inform them about the Hospice. We kindly request a small donation from the public writing a message to place a dedication on the tree, and volunteers will be provided with the necessary equipment on the day.

This campaign is crucial to build awareness for the Hospice at a crucial time of the year. It also helps us raise much-needed funds to support the Hospice’s ongoing care for patients and families. Finally, this has been a tradition in shopping centres for over 10 years and is therefore a huge part of the general public’s Christmas tradition.
