This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to give back to the community, gain experience supporting children and families, and be part of a fun, inclusive and safe welcoming Halloween event for all.
As a volunteer at our Halloween Event on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, in Middlesbrough, you’ll play an important role in making the event fun, inclusive, and welcoming for children and young people with SEND and their families.
Your tasks may include:
- Setting up and decorating the venue with a fun Halloween theme.
- Welcoming families as they arrive and helping them feel comfortable.
- Supporting children during activities, such as Halloween crafts, sensory play, and games.
- Handing out refreshments or assisting with small tasks to keep the event running smoothly.
- Chatting with parents and carers to create a warm and supportive environment.
- Tidying up and packing away at the end of the event.
You don’t need any previous experience — just a friendly attitude and willingness to help. Every role you take on, big or small, helps make the event a safe, fun, and memorable day for families.
