Role Summary: As a Retail Admin Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our retail operations. You’ll assist with processing incoming stock, preparing it for distribution across our 14 shops

What You'll Do: 

Key Responsibilities

Stock Processing & Distribution:

·         Help process and price new stock arriving at head office.

·         Sort and prepare stock for distribution to our 14 retail shops.

·         Assist with getting stock ready for pop-up shop events.

Administrative Support:

·         Handle phone and email enquiries from shops and customers.

·         Book in furniture collection requests via phone and email.

·         Maintain accurate records and logs of collections and stock movement.

Team Support:

·         Work collaboratively with the retail admin team and shop managers.

·         Provide general admin support as needed to help the team run efficiently.

What You'll Learn: 
Training requirements: As a Retail Admin Volunteer you will complete the following training: · Teesside Hospice mandatory training · Volunteer induction training   Support and supervision: Your first line of support and for any enquiries will be Anna Cordes to support you in your role.
What We're Looking For: 
Personal qualities: ·          Friendly and confident telephone manner. ·         Good organisational skills and attention to detail. ·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ·         Basic computer skills with knowledge of Excel (email, data entry, etc.). ·         A willingness to learn and a flexible, can-do attitude.
