Wintertide takes over Hartlepool's Historical Headland with three days of artistic programming that surprises and delights, transforming spaces and places, encouraging people to see the everyday in a different way.

What You'll Do: 

Volunteers like you are at the heart of everything we do. Let's work together to make Wintertide 2025 a festival to remember!

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Welcoming, guiding and supporting visitors.
  • Assisting artists and creatives with workshop delivery
  • Signposting and communicating information about the festival site and programme.
  • Selling merchandise.
  • Booking workshops.
  • Collecting information, feedback and stories for future events.

What You'll Learn: 
Once you have signed up to be part of Tees Valley Festival Volunteering you will receive training in Customer Service, Health & Safety, Inclusivity & Accessibility and Carbon Literacy. You can get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. You'll also be able to earn digital badges recognised by many universities, colleges and employers, charting your progress while you volunteer.
What We're Looking For: 
Enthusiasm and a smile. Responsibility and reliability. A can do attitude. Good communication skills. If you have any accessibility requirements please let us know and we will be happy to tailor the volunteering opportunity to suit you.
