To be working with parents who have children between the ages of 10-18, and signpost them to
organisations they will need. This role will be 2 hours per week

What You'll Do: 

You will be working with parents to help signpost them to different support organisations. You will learn to session plan and order items for activities. The activities will help you engage with parents and find out their interests and what they hope to achieve for themselves and their families.

What You'll Learn: 
How to support parents to help them support their children.  You will be a support system for families you are in need.  WIll also be a great opportunity to learn what other organisations there is in the community, how they can help and how to signpost to them.   Other skills you will learn include: ● Safeguarding  ● How to work effectively with others  ● Time Keeping  ● Communication Skills  ● How to support young people  ● Learn about Youth Work    There will be a full induction before starting your role with us - we will also identify any training needs and you will be invited to attend our annual safeguarding training.
