Do Good, Feel Good Clothing sale to celebrate Student Volunteering Week.

What You'll Do: 

Thursday 12th February 2026

Volunteering shifts are either 10:00am-12:00 or 12:00 - 14:00  (you can volunteer at both if you would like to). 

 

Sale is between 11-1pm
Student Life Building, Teesside University

 

Over the past few weeks, staff have been donating their preloved clothes and now it is time to have a sale. 

 

This event supports our Sustainable Futures Strategy by promoting reuse and sustainability, helping staff and students with the cost of living, and raising funds for a local charity. This time, all money raised will be supporting the British Heart Foundation.

 

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success!

 

Tasks may include:

Setting up tables and displays

Greeting and chatting with students

Handling donated items

Helping with sales and tidy-up

Be part of a feel-good sustainability and wellbeing project during Student Volunteering Week.    You will be helping to fundraise for a really worthwhile cause.

Experience in project management, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.   Confidence in engaging with others.    
What We're Looking For: 
Friendly, approachable students who enjoy working with others and want to get involved in campus life.   Please note: some lifting and carrying may be required.   Places are limited, first come first serve basis.
