Our Yes to Respect campaign focuses on ensuring that all members of our university community are respected and supported in an inclusive and safe environment. We are refreshing the campaign and looking for students to join us.

What You'll Do:

To help with the refresh of the campaign you will take part in some focus groups to help create new messaging for the campaign.

As part of the campaign refresh process we are taking the campaign on a roadshow around campus to speak with students and staff. Our Yes to Respect volunteers will be helping to run and deliver these roadshow sessions and speak with students and staff to help shape the future messaging of the campaign.

Why You'll Love It:
You get to chat to students and staff whilst gaining some great communication and organisation skills. You will be helping to amplify the student voice to ensure that all members of our university community are respected and supported in an inclusive and safe environment. You can read more about Yes to Respect here...https://www.tees.ac.uk/sections/stud/yes_to_respect.cfm
What You'll Learn:
You'll learn about cultural relativity in relation to how respect is percieived in everyday life on campus. You will get to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and you will also gain some useful communication and organisational skills, as well as team working skills through working with fellow students and staff from the university.
What We're Looking For:
Enthusiasm and an interest in supporting your fellow students, and also staff, to help spread the message about respect and inclusivity at Teesside University and beyond.
