Edible Forest Garden and Allotment in Berwick Hills, TS37BY currently has two morning sessions Mondays 11-1pm, Thursdays 10-1pm. We would be grateful if you can help out with gardening and DIY, and encourage more locals to join in.

What You'll Do:

Gardening, handywork if you can.  Welcoming visitors to make it a friendly community.  You can be as proactive as you like and start your own initiatives: find upcycling materials, organise a workshop, research biodiversity, the list is endless as long as it matches our Doughnut Economics and permaculture principles.  Even better if you can post these experiences and research onto our website and social media to spread Boro Doughnut vision in action.

Why You'll Love It:
Outdoor nature activity.  Friendly group.  Autonomy, each participants' creativity and ideas are respected and encouraged.  Good for wellbeing for all.
What You'll Learn:
Doughnut Economics in action.  Permaculture/circular economy.  Gardening and DIY. Diverse people, intergenerational experiences.
