What You'll Do: 

Volunteer in Our Superstore

 

We are looking for people to help in our Superstore.

 

What you can do:

  • Welcome and serve customers
  • Sort and prepare donations, like clothes and books
  • Put items on display so the shop looks nice
  • Keep the shop clean and tidy
  • Spot special items that could be sold online

     

When you can help:

  • Our shop is open from 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Saturday         

    and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays

  • You can choose times that work for you
  • We ask if you can give at least 3 hours a week

     

Who can help:

  • You need to be 14 years old or older
  • You don’t need a DBS check

     

Training requirements:

As a Volunteer Retail Assistant you will complete the following training:

  • Teesside Hospice mandatory training
  • Volunteer induction training
  • Any other training identified as appropriate to the role

     

What we ask of you:

  • Be kind and caring.
  • Be polite and friendly
  • Be happy to work with others or on your own
