Do Good, Feel Good - Help to set up the Teesside Hospice Superstore.

What You'll Do:

Calling creative students!

Help to bring the brand-new Teesside Hospice Superstore to life before it's doors to the public. We are looking for imaginative, fashion-focused volunteers to join us on the 16th April and get hands-on with styling mannequins, designing eye-catching point-of-sale displays, and transforming donated items into inspiring in-store features. It’s a chance to unleash your creativity in a real retail environment while gaining practical visual merchandising experience.

You will help shape the look of two key areas of the store – our clearance floor and our full-price shop floor – using pre-loved pieces to create bold, sustainable displays that show just how stylish second-hand can be. If you love fashion, design, sustainability, or simply want to try something creative while supporting Teesside Hospice, we’d love to have you involved. Come behind the scenes and help us build something special before opening day!

Why You'll Love It:
Fully supported by the volunteering team.  We will meet at the Student Life Building reception desk at 9:30am on the 16th April.  Head over to Portrack Lane where we will carrying out our volunteering as outlined above.  Refreshment will be available, but please bring a packed lunch.  The taxi will leave at 2:30pm and we will head back to campus.
What You'll Learn:
Visual merchandising – learning how to present products in an attractive, sales-driven way Styling & display design – dressing mannequins and creating eye-catching layouts Creativity & innovation – turning donated items into engaging, inspiring displays Brand presentation – understanding how to bring a shop’s identity to life visually
What We're Looking For:
Committed students.  Creative, willing to try something new, happy to work as part of a team.
