What You'll Do: 

Purpose of Role:The main role of the Meet and Greet volunteer is to welcome visitors and staff to the farm, assist them with initial enquiries and escort them to their destinations. Tasks:Meet and greet visitors and staff at the front door and show them to receptionEscort visitors to their destinationsOffer and provide service users with refreshmentChecking daily room bookings and set up training rooms as neededReplenish refreshments in training room as requiredRemoval of refreshments and used cups when session has finishedLoad and unload dishwasher as necessaryParticipate in any training relevant to the roleAttend or contribute to volunteer meetings whenever possibleTelephone/email/text farm coordinator as soon as possible if you are unable to fulfill your voluntary commitment so that a replacement can be arranged.Observe parking and bring any issues to the attention of the Westfield Farm Coordinator In the absence of a reception volunteer you will also be required to:Assist with the signing in and out of visitors Core skills required for the post: We are looking for volunteers who: Adopt a friendly, welcoming approachAre polite and courteous at all timesAre able to engage with a wide range of peopleBe able to maintain confidentialityBe able to adhere to Data Protection policies and procedures
