Do you have a few hours to spare? We need more volunteers to help with the pandemic response now that many people are returning to work and giving up volunteering.
Check and Chat: Phoning patients for a chat to help with isolation, this can be done from home
Driving: If you have a car and a valid driving licence you could help us deliver PPE, paperwork, prescriptions and patient transport
Friends and Family Test Callers: phoning patients to complete “customer satisfaction” surveys with them. You would be given a script to follow
Activities Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help us make small gifts which can be given out to celebrate and promote the kindness and compassion values in the NHS.
Your safety is our priority. Social distancing and safe working practices are in place for our volunteers. If interested call us on 0191 3336328 or email letting us which role you are interested in TEAWVNT.voluntaryservices@nhs.net
