We are looking for Volunteers to help us at a weekly adult appropriate inclusive disco in Stockton, and Middlesbrough.

What You'll Do: 

We are looking for Volunteers to help us at a weekly adult appropriate inclusive disco in Stockton held at The Oxbridge Social Club. We would like support with selling tickets on the door, running the tuck shop, selling raffle tickets, supporting with DJing and running of the discos.

 

The disco has a core group of attendees who help out on the night, on a rota basis, your role will be to support these individuals, who have a support need, in completing the activities, and helping Creative Support staff to make sure the event runs smoothly.

 

To support you in your role you will be offered training and regular supervisions with an assigned volunteer supervisor.

What You'll Learn: 
This volunteer role will offer you the opportunity to gain experience in the adult social care sector. The skills you can gain but are not limited to: Communication – you will work alongside a wide range of people who may not use verbal communication or may have limited communication skills.
