We would love to welcome a few creative and committed individuals to assist us in marketing our charity. Working collaboratively with service users and volunteers to create engaging resources and content for the charities benefit.
What You'll Do:
- Creating social media and marketing content across a variety of platforms
- Creating digital and printed newsletters, letters and infographics
- Helping to create marketing strategies and plans
- Photophraphy and videography within activities
- Blog and written content
- Research
Why You'll Love It:
Within both all of our teams, we have hands-on but flexible opportunities to support service users that are Autistic, ADHD and people with other neurodivergence but also volunteers and staff members that are part of our community. Due to the arrangement and perspectives of our organisation our service users are able to feel valued and authentic, allowing for a wholesome and rewarding workplace. With community at the heart of Tees Valley Buddies, it allows for a comfortable and enjoyable environment whatever your neurotype.
Neurodivergent people, specifically, have the opportunity to develop skills in an adaptable and inclusive space designed to meet the needs surrounding neurodivergence. We encourage and support Authenticity in volunteers and staff members as much as we do our service users.
What You'll Learn:
Develop leadership skills
First hand experiences within the neurodivergent and related communities
Relationship building
Time management and organisation
Neuronormative practices and experiences above deficits and pathologization
Inclusivity and new ways to create equity
Marketing skills within the charity sector
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for individuals who are inclusive and open to holding space and getting to know the community in order to inspire creative and engaging content.
Our neurodivergence holds a key part of our identity and this should be reflected in our marketing achievements.
