Weekend Volunteer Supervisor, assisting the shop manager in leading, managing, and developing the shop team.

What You'll Do: 

As a Sunday Lead Volunteer, you will work with another lead volunteer in leading, managing and planning for the development of the Sunday shop team. We’ll give you ongoing training and support to get you ready to open the store, lead a shift, train your team, and close the store. Best of all you’ll be raising vital funds to support people facing poverty around the world. Our Sunday trading hours are 10 til 2, so you would need to arrive for 9:30 to greet the team, and then leave between half 2 and 3, once the cashing up is finished.

For this key role, you don’t need to have any leadership or retail experience – we’ve got you covered. You can also get travel costs too. Whatever you need, we’re here to help.

What We're Looking For: 
We need one reference and proof of ID for all volunteers and ask you to sign up to Oxfam's Code of Conduct. This role will require an enhanced DBS/PVG check, paid for by Oxfam. We’ll train and empower you to be a key member of our team of volunteers. You don’t need to have any leadership or retail experience – we’ve got you covered. Make a real difference to fighting poverty as part of the Oxfam Community.
