About the Role: We’re currently looking for volunteers to support our Youth Hub on Monday evenings, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. This role will eventually expand to other evenings, but for now, we’re asking for a commitment on Mondays.

We are also recruiting volunteers to assist with our Holiday Hub program, which includes themed activities during school half terms. Our first holiday hub is the Easter hub which is week commencing Monday 21st April.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help organise and lead engaging activities, games, and crafts.
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with young people and act as a role model.
  • Create a safe, welcoming environment for young people to feel comfortable.
  • Ensure that all participants follow the Hub’s rules.
  • Support the safeguarding of all young people involved.
  •

Who We're Looking For:

  • Enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with young people and making a difference in the community.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personalities.
  • Reliable volunteers who can commit to Monday evenings.
  • Volunteers who can travel to Meath Street, Middlesbrough.
  • Applicants must be 16 years or older.

Why Volunteer with Us?

  • Develop valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  • Gain confidence and experience working with children and young people.
  • Make a meaningful contribution to the community and have fun while doing it!
  • Receive training and full support from our dedicated team.
  • We’ll help you complete a DBS check if you don’t already have one.
  • You may also receive a reference, subject to the number of sessions you volunteer at.

How to Apply: If you’re interested or would like more information, please email Ellie Smith at ellie.smith@kfcyf.org.uk to receive an application form.
