Community Volunteers help RNID to raise awareness of and share information about hearing loss and tinnitus and and the support available in their community.

What You'll Do: 

Our Community Volunteers usually :

  • provide community talks to groups in their community
  • raise awarness of deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus, and the services and support available 
  • provide iinformation about RNID and our activites 
  • Help people check their hearing by supporting somone to take the online hearing check from our website.

What You'll Learn: 
You will learn : What its like to live with hearing loss for people of all ages,  Communication tips for supporting people affected by hearing loss or tinnitus  You will gain experience of public speaking and sharing of information and resources You will gain valuable networking skills  
What We're Looking For: 
You will have to be over 18 to be a community volunteer  You will be happy giving talks to community groups  You will be passionate about our cause or want to learn more about what RNID provide
