As a Visitor Engagement Volunteer working with young people you'll be helping deliver events and activities for under 18’s, such as pond dipping, meadow sweeping and minibeast hunting.

What You'll Do: 

We are looking for volunteers who can help with all our children focused visitor engagement activities, from welcoming people on arrival, to leading events and activities specifically designed to engage children and teenagers. These can include Pond Dipping, Meadow Sweeping and Minibeast Hunting.

You will get to meet loads of new people in this role, enjoying conversation and helping people have a wonderful visit.  
What You'll Learn: 
There is always the opportunity to learn new things and gain skills through volunteering, by working on a reserve, you'll naturally learn all about how nature reserves are managed and the wildlife that is found there.
What We're Looking For: 
You must be a ‘people person’, who enjoys meeting new people and is a confident communicator. An ability to adapt your communication style to be able to talk to with families with children. Attention to detail. Organisational skills, to help ensure events and activities are carried out safely.
