ABOUT US: 

Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies, and work to enhance society’s care of bereaved people.We have 3 branches here in the North East - Tyneside, Darlington & Durham and Teesside, and over 130 brilliant volunteers who provide bereavement support locally. We also have a small but growing team of fundraising volunteers who raise money to support the work we do here in the North East.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS: 

Bereavement affects everyone and can have a devastating effect on emotional, physical and mental health.
