National Childbirth Trust
Our mission is to support parents through the first 1,000 days to have the best possible experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. We achieve our mission though three interconnected aims: Sharing evidence-based knowledge to support parents to make informed decisions. Creating networks of vital support and life-long friendship. Campaigning on the issues that matter most to families throughout their early experiences of becoming a parent.
ABOUT US:

NCT Teesside runs regular groups to support parents, such as its popular Bumps and Babies Group. There are lots of ways to get involved and help, whilst gaining skills and experience.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

Our vision is of a world in which no parent is isolated and all parents are supported to build a stronger society.

Our volunteers provide safe spaces for warm, friendly non judgemental support to all expectant and new parents. Their local connection and knowledge shapes services in the community.
