Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary (Charity CIO 1185213) is a rescue and rehabilitation charity for orphaned, injured and sick wildlife. Our main centre is based in Whitby, YO22 4NW and we are seeking volunteers to assist with the animal care work.

What You'll Do: 

You will be working with a variety of wildlife, helping to care for, feed and clean on our site here at Broomfields Farm, YO22 4NW. Volunteers typically volunteer weekly but we are flexible, with some volunteers coming in fortnightly, monthly and some on a more flexible basis , around work schedules. Volunteers arrive between 9 and 1 and stay for a minimum of 2 hours per session. Wear clothes you dont mind getting messy! Training provided. We will first organise a 2 hour 'taster session', so you can get a feel for the place and ensure its a position you would like to do.  Feel free to pop us an email: whitbywildlifesanctuary@outlook.com or a FB message to our page 'Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary' to discuss further. 

Note - this position is based in Whitby.
