We’re currently looking for volunteers to support our Level Up cooking programme on Thursday evenings, from 3.30pm to 6:15pm and our upcoming sports based youth club launching on Tuesdays (details TBD)

What You'll Do: 
  • Help organise and lead engaging activities, games, and crafts.
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with young people and act as a role model.
  • Create a safe, welcoming environment for young people to feel comfortable.
  • Ensure that all participants follow the Hub’s rules.
  • Aid in setting up, setting down, preparing food and shutting the hub down with youth workers.
  • Support the safeguarding of all young people involved.
What You'll Learn: 
Develop valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. Gain confidence and experience working with children and young people. Make a meaningful contribution to the community and have fun while doing it! Receive training and full support from our dedicated team. We’ll help you complete a DBS check if you don’t already have one. You may also receive a reference, subject to the number of sessions you volunteer at.
What We're Looking For: 
Enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with young people and making a difference in the community. Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personalities. Reliable volunteers who can commit to Thursday evenings. Volunteers who can travel to Meath Street, Middlesbrough. Applicants must be 16 years or older. Can commit to volunteering for a minimum of 6 months.
