We have loads of new groups, projects and events in the works so we’re shouting out for some new faces to come and help out. We're looking for people to be involved in all areas from 'Team Support' to 'Project Managers', so get in touch!

What You'll Do:

We are flexible as to which part of TeesstrHive CIC you want to be involved in. We can work with your talents and are happy to take on your ideas! We love meeting new people and have a lot of fun whilst supporting our young people and families in Teesside. You can be involved in organising and supporting with the social groups, for example Art Group, or take on the management or fundraising, or projects/events that raise awareness for TeesstrHive CIC.

Why You'll Love It:
Just look at our pictures! https://teesstrhivecic.co.uk/
What You'll Learn:
If you choose to support with the social groups, you will gain valuable experience in the voluntary sector, working with children, young people and families. You will build and develop interpersonal skills, organisational skills and work as part of a wider team. We also value enthusiasm and passion and TeesstrHive CIC can help and support you to use these qualities to communicate effectively with others of all ages. If you choose to support with administrative tasks, project management or fundraising events you will foster valuable time-management skills, use your own initiative and develop working relationships with those within the local community. Whilst at TeesstrHive CIC, you can acquire wider knowledge of the voluntary sector, including mental health, how to effectively support children and young people with additional needs, how to manage group dynamics and so on. This is a perfect opportunity for those that aspire to have a career in childcare or healthcare.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for enthuastic, self-motivated individuals that have a passion for working with children, young people and families or those that want to assist TeesstrHive CIC to do this by working hard 'behind the scenes'.

We create readers because when a child becomes a reader, they get the very best chance in life. Help children in your local community find a love of reading by supporting in a local school one afternoon a week during school term time.
